Credit Card Safeguard
Is it safe to use my credit card over the Internet? Yes. We use PayPal Payment credit card systems, which utilizes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. SSL is the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, which is a fancy way of saying that it’s a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to our website’s servers. Your credit card information is not seen by anyone throughout the entire ordering process.
How can I check to make sure my connection is secure? Look at the lower right-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the PayPal server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active and the server is secure. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."
Checkout
How do I place an order? When you are done shopping, click "checkout" to place your order. All of the items in your shopping cart appear in your order during checkout. If you do not want to order all of the items, simply edit your shopping cart before proceeding to checkout. During checkout, you will be asked to provide: · Your login id and password, for security purposes · Your credit card billing address. NOTE: Your credit card billing address and shipping address should be the same, or there may be an undisclosed waiting period to ensure that there have been no tampering or fraudulent actions on the named persons card. This is meant to provide a safeguard to both EYE CANDY FASHIONS, and our customers. · The address you want to ship to. · Your credit card type, number and expiration date.
Can I change my order during checkout? Yes. The order confirmation page lists your order information and gives you a last chance to make any changes. Your order will not be placed and your credit card will not be charged if you do not click "Make Payment" and enter your payment information with PayPal.
How can I be sure my order has been received? When you enter your credit card information and submit your order on the final review page, we will give you an order confirmation number. You will also receive an email confirming that your order has been received within approximately 24 hours. We will send you another email to notify you when your order has been shipped and that we have charged your credit card.
Are there other ways to place my order? Yes, if you prefer not to order online you may contact us for more information on how to make payment via International Postal Money Order or Certified Check. What forms of payment does EYE CANDY FASHIONS accept? EYE CANDY FASHIONS accepts the following forms of payment through PayPal: · Visa · MasterCard · American Express · Discover
What if I do not have any of those? Do not worry. You can place an order using an International Postal Money Order or Certified Check.
Order Status and Tracking
How long until my package is shipped and arrives? Once payment is received there will be a processing period which starts the following BUSINESS DAY. The processing period is used to verify orders and initiate an extensive pre-shipping quality control process for your order. Once the Processing phase has been completed, you can expect your package to arrive within 5 BUSINESS days. Please remember all these days are BUSINESS DAYS - meaning HOLIDAYS and WEEKENDS do not apply as part of the shipping period.
How do I know if my order has been shipped? You will receive two emails after you have placed your order and provided us with a valid email address: · The first confirms that your order has been received (your order confirmation number will be included); this email should arrive within approximately 24 hours. · The second will be sent after your order has been processed and filled, and confirms that your order has been shipped, and you will be given your order tracking number.
How do I track my order? Find the tracking number in the email we sent you confirming that your order has been shipped. Use that number at www.usps.com to check the status of your order online. Please note that it may take 24 hours before tracking information appears in the carrier’s database. If your order appears late, remember: · Credit card approval must be received prior to processing. · Money Transfers, Money Orders, and Certified Check must be received and clear prior to processing. · Express delivery only occurs on business days (Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays).
What about Customs charges for International Orders? This is generally not a problem unless your order is a very large one that requires an appropriate box. Even so, this does not guarantee that you will not be charged anything by customs. On some occasions, you may be subjected to nominal Customs charges that include any applicable duties and taxes. The buyer is responsible for all customs charges (duty and tax) applied to your package. EYE CANDY FASHIONS cannot control any option or right that Customs exercises on your package.
What if an item I have ordered is out of stock? Although we make every effort to maintain stock and satisfy our customers, occasionally we are out of certain items. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will email you with a backorder notification, which tells when you can expect to receive the item. If we are permanently out of stock on an item that you have ordered, we will notify you via email. Any changes will be reflected in your order total and shipping confirmation. Please contact us with any questions about out-of-stock items.
